What is the official date of conversion?  June 17, 2018

Will my credit card number change?  Yes, your credit card number will change. If you have an active account, you will receive a new plastic card and PIN in the mail in early June.

Will you receive a new card?  If you have an active account, you will receive a new plastic and PIN in the mail in early June.

Are there any improvements with the new credit card vendor?  In the near future, we will be adding additional benefits and services!

Will the 24/7 Card Service phone number be the same?  The new number you should call for 24/7 credit card service is 1-800-442-4757.  Prior to June 17th please contact us at 914-923-3608.

Will there be an interruption service while using the card? If I use my card, can I be declined?  There should be no interruption during the conversion. You should be able to activate your new card on Sunday, June 17th no sooner than 6am.

Will I be able to see my credit card information through the Online Banking website? Can I see online transactions, pending activity, payment information, or e-statements?  You can access your credit card activity and rewards via Please download your existing e-statements or prior transactions prior to  the conversion, please download your existing e-statements to ensure that you have them on file. In order for us to retrieve your statements from the archives after the conversion, there will be a $3.00 fee assessed per statement.
What about Rewards?  We are moving from our current rewards program to the new, enhanced Rewards! program. You will earn 1 point for every $1 spent with no expiration! With Rewards!, you can choose from hundreds of rewards including gift cards, merchandise, travel, and even a cash rebate option in the form of a pre-paid Visa card! With so many reward options, the hardest part is choosing your reward. The new Rewards are now available for use.

Will there be an interruption with my statements?  There will be no interruption.

What services will be interrupted?  From June 14 to June 19, there will be a delay with processing over the counter payments, cash advances, and manual adjustments. Although we will be able to accept payments, the transaction will not be posted to your account until after the conversion date.

Will my Personal Identification Number (PIN) change?  Yes, your PIN will change. You will receive a PIN mailer in early June with a new number, which includes the option to reset the PIN to a new option!

Will I notice any difference at all once the conversion occurs?  We are working on setting up our new Rewards! site. By early July, you should be able to access the Rewards site via a link in the GoToMyCard site above.

If I did a preauthorized or recurring ACH bill with my Visa Card, do I need to make any changes?  Yes, if you have any pre-authorized agreements with specific companies to change your account for payment, please notify them that your account number has changed once you have activated your new card(s).

Does the address to where I send my payments change?  Yes, the new payment address will be: P.O. Box 672051 Dallas, TX 75267-2021.

Will my credit card payment date change?  Your payment due date of the 27th will remain the same.

If I set up a monthly automatic transfer or ACH payment to pay my Visa bill, will I have to do anything?  Yes, please update the account number and provide the new mailing address of: P.O. Box 672051 Dallas, TX 75267-2021.

I have someone joint on my credit card, will this affect them? Yes, while their information will also be transferred, they will also receive a new card number.

If I pay my bill through Academic FCU’s online banking, will I be able to continue to do so?   Yes!
